Our Mission: Supporting the champions of good governance in order to build legitimate foundations for peace and prosperity, for the benefit of the most disadvantaged segments of the Hispanic community.

Geographic Focus: We focus on governance issues in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a special focus on the poorer parts of the Andean region.

Our Approach

Through an in-depth analysis of complex social, political, and economic dynamics, MHIGG designs innovative approaches and theories of change to advance creative solutions.  We engage a wide range of actors, including the marginalized and vulnerable, recognizing that the prospects for achieving tangible results are improved when competing or conflicting interests are considered.

To achieve positive change, new approaches are required, ones that seek unexpected outcomes, and allow for adaptation and iteration. We apply these approaches to address the complexity and volatility inherent in change.
